Daily Routine/Mindfulness...

Hello, I am new here, and very excited about the focus of this community.

Lately...
I've been trying to focus more on vipassana, self-awareness, and mindfulness, as well as yoga and long walks over strenuous exercise. My goal is to attain and sustain a state of grace within myself and to exude grace effortlessly.

I begin each day with room temperature water with lemon. I have a wonderful travel mug that allows me to take loose tea on the go has been making my days wonderful. I fill it with bancha or genmaicha, and can resoak the leaves throughout the day. The superfruits flavor of kombucha is a wonderful addition to my life. Yesterday I went to the local natural market and purchased some local lacinato kale, broccoli, 8 large red carrots (they're so beautiful,) 2 avocados, 1 sugar melon, and 2 nectarines. My lunches for work have mostly been quinoa based, usually adding steamed kale, sesame seeds, avocado, and some cilantro dressing from trader joe's (a weakness of mine...) My dinners can sometimes be similar to my lunch, or I'll make a nice salad or miso soup with assorted vegetables.



The Algonquin tea company makes a lucid dream blend of tea that I have been enjoying in the evenings. I've yet to try their others, but they're quite intriguing. If haven't noticed, I'm quite in love with tea. We've had a constant long-term relationship.
